StackAdapt is a self-serve programmatic advertising platform for by digital marketers. Ad buyers can plan, execute and manage data-driven digital advertising campaigns across all devices, inventory, and publisher partners.

Getting started

  1. From the Segment web app, click Catalog, then click Destinations.
  2. Find the Destinations Actions item in the left navigation, and click it.
  3. Click Configure StackAdapt.
  4. Select an existing Source to connect to StackAdapt (Actions).

Individual destination instances have support a maximum of 50 mappings.

Forward Event

Forward Segment events to StackAdapt for conversion tracking

Forward Event is a Cloud action. The default Trigger is: type = "identify" or type = "page" or type = "screen" or type = "track"

Field Description
Segment User ID Type: STRING

The ID of the user in Segment

Event Type Type: STRING

The Segment event type (page, track, etc.)

Event Name Type: STRING

The event name (e.g. Order Completed)

IP Address* Type: STRING

IP address of the user

Page Title Type: STRING

The title of the page where the event occurred.

URL Type: STRING

The URL of the page where the event occurred.

Referrer Type: STRING

The referrer of the page where the event occurred.

UTM Source Type: STRING

UTM source parameter associated with event

User Agent* Type: STRING

User-Agent of the user

Email Type: STRING

Email address of the individual who triggered the event.

Phone Number Type: STRING

Phone number of the individual who triggered the event

First Name Type: STRING

First name of the individual who triggered the event.

Last Name Type: STRING

Last name of the individual who triggered the event.

Ecommerce Data Type: OBJECT

Additional ecommerce fields that are included in the pixel payload.

Products Type: OBJECT

The list of products associated with the event (for events with multiple products, such as Order Completed)
